2019/20 Season Registration Information

ARE YOU LOOKING TO JOIN THE VANCOUVER PACIFIC SWIM CLUB? IF YOUR SWIMMER HAS A LOVE FOR SWIMMING AND WOULD LIKE TO JOIN A COMPETITIVE PROGRAM, WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THEM JOIN US IN THE WATER!

REGISTRATION IN THE PROGRAM IS ONGOING FROM SEPTEMBER TO APRIL, WITH ASSESSMENTS RUNNING ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOONS AND SATURDAY MORNINGS OUT OF THE LORD BYNG POOL (3990 West 14th Avenue).


2019/20 VPSC Registration Package


PLEASE FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW TO BECOME A VPSC SWIMMER:

1. Head to the website to sign up for an assessment with one of our VPSC Swimmers:

2. After the assessment your swimmer will be placed in a group and welcome to register with the club OR will be given skills to work on before coming in for another assessment.

3. To register, please follow the steps below:

a.    Visit https://vpsc.poolq.net/ and click on the "Sign-In" button on the top right hand corner

   b. Click on the “Create Account” button. Enter in your email, and the password you would like to use. A confirmation email will be sent which you will need to confirm then you will be able to sign in.

c. Once you are signed in, please click on your email which will show in the top right hand corner. Click on “My Account”.

d. Please update the “My Profile” and “Payment Methods” sections. You can also scroll to the bottom and click on the “Add Members” section to add your swimmers.

f. Once you are signed into your account and all your information is update you will be able to begin the registration process (The Registration link on the top menu will only show up if you are signed in).

g. Please select the “Registration” link from the drop down menu.

h. When you reach the registration page, you will see that the registration is broken up by group. Please select the group that your swimmer has been placed in, for the 2019/20 season. Under each group you will see the following buttons:

Program Details- Includes details about your swimmers group, including schedules and expectations.

b.    Times and Availability- Group Schedule

c.     Register- Where you will need to go to complete your swimmers registration!

**Please note that if your Swimmers Information (including Health Card Number), and Payment Methods are not updated in your account before you start the registration process, you will need to restart registration halfway through the process

i. Once the registration is complete you will receive a confirmation email and a sales receipt for the Family Membership Fee and the Arena Training Suit Deposit. If you do not receive these emails, please reach out to info@vancouverpacificswimclub.com​​​​​​​


Are you wondering if your swimmer is ready to join the VPSC community? 

Below is a description of the skills that each swimmer should have before coming in for an assessment with one of our VPSC coaches. If you have any questions about any of the guidelines below, please don't hesitate to reach out!

9 & Under swimmers - born 2010 or later

Swimmers must be able to comfortably and independently complete 25m of Freestyle and Backstroke with some knowledge of breaststroke and/or butterfly kick - approx. Swim Kids Level 6

All new swimmers will need to book an assessment at http://calendly.com/vpsc

10-11 year old swimmers - born 2008 or 2009

Swimmers must be able to comfortably and independently complete 25m of all four competitive strokes (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle) - approx. Swim Kids Level 10

All new swimmers will need to book an assessment at http://calendly.com/vpsc

12-13 year old swimmers - born 2005 or 2006

Swimmers must be able to complete 200 Free under 3:15.00, 200 IM under 3:40.00 and/or show commitment towards continual improvement

No assessment required -- swimmers are invited to a free two week trial in September to identify their appropriate training level. Please contact VPSC with the swimmer's age and previous swimming experience for details.

14 & Over year old swimmers - born 2004 or earlier

Swimmers must be able to complete 200 Free under 3:00.00, 200 IM under 3:20.00 and/or show commitment towards continual improvement

No assessment required -- swimmers are invited to a free two week trial in September to identify their appropriate training level. Please contact VPSC with the swimmer's age and previous swimming experience for details.
