A reminder that Saturday practice is canceled due to this event.
- When: Friday Oct 22nd, 6:00pm-8:30pm
- Where: St. George's Senior School
- Who: All Mini Makos swimmers can participate. No other clubs will be in attendance.
- What: every swimmer will do 3-4 races and have the chance to win prizes
Equipment:
Swimmers should bring:
- Goggles
- VPSC Cap
- 2 towels
- VPSC Shirt labelled with name
- water bottle labelled with name
- kickboard
- They DO NOT need their fins
Pick up / Drop Off Procedure:
Due to construction, we have a meeting spot on West 27th Ave & Camosun St. Swimmers and volunteers are to meet here at 5:40pm for check in and attendance and we will begin our walk inside at 5:50pm.
Please note that the door to the pool will shut and lock at 6:00pm and facility policy is that nobody is allowed in once the door is shut.
Use of other school doors or the school parking lot is not permitted and violators are reported to be towed / penalized.
Coaches will walk the swimmers back to the meeting spot for pickup at 8:40pm. Please arrive promptly to pick up your child, as the staff cannot leave the premises until every swimmer is picked up.
COVID-19 Protocols
- Change room use is not permitted aside from using the bathroom
- All volunteers and coaches must wear masks at all times.
- Swimmers must wear masks while not in the pool.
- No spectators are permitted in the facility at this time.
- Swimmers and volunteers must stay home if they are sick
