Travel Itinerary and Meet Information:

Thursday, November 11th, 2021

  •  4:00PM - Swimmer Dropped off at Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal for 5:00PM ferry.

Team will arrive in Victoria at 6:35PM and will head to the hotel for dinner prepared by the chaperones. If swimmers would like to buy any food or snacks on the ferry, please make sure to send them with spending name.

Sunday, November 14th, 2021

  • The plan is to return on the 3:00PM from Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen, please pick up the swimmers at the Tsawwassen ferry terminal at 4:35PM.

Travel approx.: $600.00

Meet Entry Fees and Meet Admin Fee: $105.00

*A reminder that the cost listed above is an estimation and may change due to travel plans and number of swimmers attending.

                REMINDERS:

§BRING YOUR OWN PLATE, BOWL, CUP, CUTLERY, WATERBOTTLE, and a TUPPERWARE CONTAINER to bring snacks to the pool.

  • Please bring and wear your VPSC team gear (apparel and cap). Please make sure to bring shoes appropriate for the pool deck, as well as layers to wear for throughout the meet.
  • Please adhere to directions from the chaperones and coaches for the duration of the trip.
  • Review the Club Handbook for policies related to travel.
  • Please fill out and return the “Swimmer Travel Information” form before the first travel day.

VPSC Covid Travel Policy

1 – All chaperones, coaches, athletes over the age of 11, and volunteers will have to show proof of vaccination to be part of team travel.

2 – All chaperones, coaches, athletes and volunteers will wear masks in all common areas and all modes of transportation for the duration of the trip.  They will be able to remove their masks when in their own rooms.

3 – Athletes will be placed two to a room, and will not be allowed to visit other rooms, with the exception of the chaperone’s room for food at meal times.

4 – Social distancing rules are in place for the duration of the trip.

5 – Team meetings will be limited to on deck at the pool, or outside in an open area.

6 – During meals, athletes will gather food from the chaperone’s rooms, and then bring the food back to their individual rooms to eat.

7 – Chaperone’s will prepare all food with masks and gloves in place, while following proper cleaning protocols for all utensils and cooking equipment.

8 – Any person showing signs of illness will be isolated, and will be required to have their parents come and pick them up to bring them home.
