MANDATORY TEAM TRAVEL MEET
Registration Deadline: November 11th, 2019
No late registrations will be accepted. When you register, you are committing to incurring the cost of travel regardless if you decide not to attend later. (Special considerations or illness will be discussed on a case by case basis).
Groups Attending: HIGH PERFORMANCE, SENIOR NATIONAL, AND SELECT SENIOR PROVINCIAL SWIMMERS

Each family will be responsible for checking in their swimmer 24 hours before the flight, when leaving Vancouver on Wednesday, December 11th, and leaving Edmonton on Sunday, December 15th. Each family will be responsible for paying the CHECKED BAGGAGE FEE as well for both flights. The cost for checked baggage can be found on the E-Ticket attached to this email.
Wednesday, December 11th-TRAVEL DAY
We are asking all swimmers to meet at the Airport in front of WEST JET DOMESTIC DEPARTURES at 3:00PM. Please make sure that your swimmer has an early dinner before arriving at the airport, or has money to purchase food at the airport. The VPSC chaperone team will not be providing dinner on the Wednesday PM.
Sunday, December 15th-TRAVEL DAY
The team will be arriving at YVR at 10:50PM on Sunday night. Please make sure to check the West Jet web page before heading to the airport. If there is a delay or change in travel plans, and email will be sent to the club before the scheduled take-off. Swimmers will need to check in with the chaperones before leaving the airport. If your swimmer will be carpooling with another family, if you could please let us know ahead of time that would be great.
Please keep in mind to pack the following items for the upcoming team travel meet:
-Medium sized tupperware (to take snacks to the pool)
-PASSPORT or travel documents needed
-Racing suits, extra goggles and caps, training suit, Team t-shirt and team gear.
-Layers appropriate for Edmonton (the temperature is dropping in Alberta, so your swimmer should have a winter coat/parka, toque, gloves, and warm boots).
