Swim BC Winter Age Group Championships

WHEN: Friday, February 21^st  to Sunday, February 23^rd

WHERE: Vancouver Aquatic Centre, 1050 Beach Ave, Vancouver, BC V6E 1T7

Groups: Qualified swimmers from Youth Provincial and Junior Provincial swimmers

Fees:

$75.00 per swimmer

$15.00 Meet Admin Fee

$20.00 Provincial Team t-shirt

Fees will be reconciled with any changes and charged to your account prior to the end of the month.

WARM-UPS AND SESSION TIMELINES:

Friday morning session

8:10am - ACTIVATION

8:25-8:50am – WARM-UP

9:00am - session starts

1:15pm (approx.) session concludes

Friday afternoon session

3:10pm - ACTIVATION

3:25-3:50pm – WARM-UP

4:30pm- session starts

7:35pm (approx.) session concludes

Saturday morning session

7:10am - ACTIVATION

7:25-8:50am – WARM-UP

9:00am - session starts

2:00pm (approx.) session concludes

Saturday afternoon session

3:40pm - ACTIVATION

3:55-4:20pm – WARM-UP

4:30pm- session starts

7:10pm (approx.) session concludes

Sunday session

7:40am - ACTIVATION

7:55-8:20am – WARM-UP

9:00am - session starts

4:20pm (approx.) session concludes

**There will be a 60 min break after 200 FLY

REMINDERS:

§  Make sure to give your self enough time to find and pay for parking and be on the pool deck on time for activation!

§  Let’s show our VPSC spirit! Please wear VPSC t-shirt & cap, VPSC Branded suit or Black suit for racing, cheer at start of each session and cheer on your teammates.

§  See your coach before and after races.

§  Rest between events, which means: Avoid running around, staying dry, wearing clothes and shoes, staying hydrated (bring your waterbottle), and eating healthy snacks.

§  No food permitted on the pool deck, please leave the pool deck to eat.

§  Bring multiple towels for throughout the day, and wear layers to stay warm between races.

§  Swimmers will not be allowed on deck until 6:30AM each morning, which is when the doors to the pool will be open.
