1) No parents on deck. Due to number restrictions on the pool deck we are still running West Coast Open with no spectators.
2) There are still options available for volunteering at the meet, please email officials@richmondrapids.com if any parents would like to volunteer and be on deck to watch their kids race.
3) We will be blocking warm ups into 25 min sessions but will not be having lane assignments. The blocked assignments are attached.
4) There is positive check in for all distance. The deadline will be 30 after the start of the session that the race is in.
5) We are using backstroke wedges this weekend. The video on how to use them is attached above. Also a reminder:
a. Toe(s) from each foot must be in contact with the touch pads;
b. If not, the starter will relax the swimmers, and one general warning will be given;
c. If toe(s) from each foot are not in contact with touch pads after the general warning, it will be an infraction.
